The Dota Pro Circuit is back for another round in North America.
The DPC NA 2023 Tour 1 Division 1 begins January 9, with scintillating new faces in tow. The region has received a fair amount of imports this season, including Danil “Dendi” Ishutin’s B8.
Other teams to watch include Shopify Rebellion, taking over the storied Evil Geniuses roster that has continue to dominate NA. The cosmopolitan TSM is also refreshed with three new players — from Russia, U.K., and Indonesia.

This Regional League is the first of three Tours for the Dota Pro Circuit this year.
Besides prize money, teams fight for a variety of opportunities. The top two teams from the North American region qualifies for the first Major of the season. The top six teams stay in Division 1 for the next Tour, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to Division 2.

All eight teams in the Regional League will periodically play each other in a round-robin best-of-three.
Tiebreakers will only be played if it affects qualification — for Majors and relegation. A two-way tie will trigger a best-of-three tiebreaker, while more teams will turn into a best-of-one.
The top two teams qualify for the first Major of the season.
