There’s going to be top-tier Dota 2 event outside the Dota Pro Circuit this year.
ESL’s DreamLeague 19 is scheduled to run from April 9 to 23, featuring a US$1 million prize pool and 16 of the best teams in the world.
These 16 teams represent all six DPC regions, and were invited based on ESL’s EPT ranking system, the tournament organizer announced last night.
DreamLeague 19 is the first tournament of the ESL Pro Tour, which will feature another DreamLeague and the US$15 million Riyadh Masters in June and July respectively.

These 16 teams will compete over two weeks in the online tournament. The winner of the tournament, aside from a hefty portion of the prize pool, will also guarantee qualification to the Riyadh Masters.
The list of teams include the top three teams at the recent Lima Major — Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid, and Talon Esports. The International 10 and 11 winners — Team Spirit and Tundra Esports — will also be attending, along with other powerhouses from North and South America, China, Southeast Asia, and Western and Eastern Europe.
