New Dota 2 tournament! BLAST Dota Slam Singapore takes place at one of the largest venues
Following the success of last year’s BLAST Premier World Final for Counter-Strike 2, the tournament organizers announced its return to Singapore with a major arena event focused on Dota 2 called “BLAST Dota Slam Singapore.”
The upcoming Dota Slam takes place in the last quarter of the year, held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from November 4 to 9, 2025.
The tournament will host the world’s top Dota teams, who converge in Singapore to compete for a substantial prize pool of US$1,000,000.

BLAST Dota Slam Singapore marks BLAST’s first ever “Slam” arena event dedicated to Dota 2 in Singapore.
This major esports event is a result of a continued partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board and AEG Presents Asia. Together, they hope to further cultivate the burgeoning esports ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
Singapore has hosted several significant Dota 2 tournaments over the years, solidifying its position as a key esports destination in Southeast Asia. One of the most prestigious events was The International 2022 (TI11), the annual world championship for Dota 2.
This marked a historic moment as it was the first time The International was held in the Southeast Asian region. The grand finals took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in October 2022.

Prior to TI11, Singapore also hosted the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 in March and April of that year. This event was the first Major of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit.
Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was held behind closed doors at the Fairmont Singapore where Invictus Gaming from China emerged as the champions.
Prior to this, the ONE Esports World Pro Invitational Singapore 2019 was held in December of that year at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This tournament featured a substantial prize pool of US$500,000 and attracted top international teams. Vici Gaming from China claimed the championship title at this event.
