DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3 Division 1: Schedule, results, format, teams, where to watch

The DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3 Division 1 league stands out this season with its exceptionally strong teams, surpassing the standards set by other regions.

The Gaimin Gladiators have proven their dominance as back-to-back Major champions, triumphing in Lima and Berlin. Meanwhile, Team Liquid has secured the runner-up position in both Majors, proving they’re still a top Dota 2 team globally.

Tundra Esports, the champions of TI11, is another noteworthy team to consider. They recently secured a commendable 5th-place finish in Germany alongside a surging OG squad.

Tour 3 also marks the return of Team Secret to the Division 1 league, featuring their new Filipino midlaner, Armel “Armel” Tabios, who has undoubtedly breathed new life into their team.

The top four teams at the end of the regional league will qualify for Bali, the last Major of the DPC 2023 season.

Format of DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3 Division 1

In the Regional League, the eight participating teams will compete against each other in a round-robin format where each team will play against every other team periodically. The matches will be best-of-three.

In case of a tie, tiebreakers will only be played if it has an impact on the team’s qualification for the Majors or relegation. If there is a two-way tie, a best-of-three tiebreaker will be played. If more than two teams are tied, then a best-of-one tiebreaker will be played instead.

The top four teams in the Regional League standings will qualify for the Bali Major.
